A new strategy developed by EPiQC researchers to expand the scalability of quantum computers received a Best Paper Award at the 2021 IEEE International Conference on Quantum Computing and Engineering, also known as IEEE Quantum Week.
Ding, who worked in Chong’s research group as part of the Enabling Practical-Scale Quantum Computing (EPiQC) collaboration, is the first quantum computing specialist hired by Yale’s CS department.
